It seems like every auto leasing company you see works in basically the same way. They have a car lot that you have to drive to, and they have a bunch of cars from the same two or three manufacturers. Once you arrive on the lot, you will be immediately approached by a salesmen who will begin trying to push you toward a vehicle they think is ‘right’ for you. Though this often means they are pushing you toward a vehicle that will get them the biggest commission. Even though they have a lot of cars to look at, most of them are basically the same, so if you want something different you have to start the process over at the next auto leasing agency.
Here at eAutoLease.com, we are completely different. We don’t have a traditional car lot that you have to come to. Instead, you just log on to our website and start looking at all the vehicles we have available. Another major difference is that we don’t just stock vehicles from two or three manufacturers. Instead, we have vehicles from virtually every manufacturer in the world available. Of course, since you’re shopping online through our web portal, you don’t have to worry about any annoying salesmen showing up.
If you know you want a Subaru, you can narrow your search down on our site to just display these vehicles. You’ll find that we have an extensive lineup of different models including a variety of different trim packages and options. If you are interested in the BRZ Coup, we have that. If you prefer the Forrester SUV or Legacy Sedan or any of the other models from Subaru, we have them available too. Of course, you are never limited just to the Subaru manufacturer. You can always look at any vehicle you are interested in.
Once you’ve narrowed your list of vehicles down to a few, we can start the process of getting you the financing you need and talking about the terms of the lease you’ll be getting. Our friendly sales associates are committed to helping you to get the exact interest rates, monthly payments, number of miles and other factors for your lease. When you’re ready to talk to them about your leasing options, you just dial 718-871-CARS (2277). You’ll speak to one of our associates who will help you through the entire process. They can even help to set you up with a test drive if you are interested.
Subaru is the automobile manufacturing division of Japanese transportation conglomerate Subaru Corporation, (formerly known as Fuji Heavy Industries (FHI)). Subaru is the twenty-second largest car manufacturer by production worldwide in 2012. Subaru offers turbocharged versions of their passenger cars and passenger sports cars, such as the Impreza WRX, Legacy and Outback XT, Ascent, and previously the Legacy GT and Forester XT.
In Western markets, the Subaru brand has traditionally been popular among a dedicated core of buyers. Marketing is targeted towards specific niches centered on those who desire the company’s signature drive train engine, all-wheel/rough-road capabilities, or affordable sports car markets. Subaru is the Japanese name for the Pleiades star cluster M45, or the “Seven Sisters”, which in turn inspires the logo and alludes to the companies that merged to create FHI.
Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd was founded in the early 1950s by a group of Japanese companies. Its car branch became known as “Subaru,” a Japanese word that means “unite.” The first Subaru vehicle was unveiled in 1954. The P-1 (later renamed the Subaru 1500) was the first car to utilize a monocoque body designed in Japan and was powered by a four-cylinder engine. It also had front-wheel wishbone-type independent suspension.
The GL/DL was Subaru’s first vehicle in the 1970s (called the Leone in other markets). The sedan (quickly followed by a coupe and a station wagon) was the first to provide four-wheel drive (4WD). Up until that point, 4WD has only been available in off-road vehicles. The GL and DL, which were popular for usage in the snow and mountainous areas, also benefited from the growing popularity of outdoor sports such as skiing and fishing and became the world’s best-selling 4WD car. Subaru released the famous Brat in 1977; it was a small car-based truck with a pair of jump seats in the cargo bed. Young people were looking for a vehicle suited for an active lifestyle, and the robust Brat fit the bill wonderfully.
In the 1990s, the carmaker created a name in motorsports by being the first Japanese marque to win the World Rally Championship Manufacturers’ title for three consecutive years. During this decade, the high-performance SVX, the popular Legacy-based Outback wagon, and the sporty Impreza were all added to the Subaru lineup. General Motors purchased a 20% stake in parent company Fuji Heavy Industries (FHI) in the late 1990s, intending to expand its international footprint. This partnership did not survive long, as Toyota now owns a small portion of FHI.

Subaru cars are known for their use of a boxer engine layout in most vehicles above 1500 cc. The symmetrical all-wheel drive-train layout was introduced in 1972. The flat/boxer engine and all-wheel-drive became standard equipment for mid-size and smaller cars in most international markets by 1996 and is now standard in most North American market Subaru vehicles. The lone exception is the BRZ, introduced in 2012 via a partnership with Toyota, which uses the boxer engine but instead uses a rear-wheel-drive structure.
Subaru is owned by Fuji Heavy Industries with Toyota being a minority partner. Toyota Motor Company has a stake in Fuji Industries (Subaru’s parent company) and Isuzu and owns Lexus, Scion, and Hino Motors. Toyota increased its stake in Subaru Corporation from 16.83 percent to 20 percent, which means a strengthening of their ties.
Subarus are produced at two manufacturing plants. The first facility is located in Gunma, Japan and the second one operates in Lafayette, Indiana. The Subaru BRZ, Crosstrek, Impreza, WRX, STi and Forester models are made at the Japan site. The Indiana plant produces the Legacy sedan and the Outback and Tribeca crossovers. If you are considering the aforementioned models as lease cars, do not hesitate to contact one of our sales representatives.
Subaru has experienced a lot of ups and downs over the last few years, and in 2016 the drop in its reliability was significant enough that they dropped to 18th out of 36 in the dependability scale as awarded by the Reliability Index. However, things have started to look up for Subaru since then. The manufacturer is still in the 18th position on the reliability tables. Generally, Subarus aren’t hugely reliable but they also aren’t unreliable.
The MSRP (Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price) of Subaru Impreza 2.0 starts at around $19,500 including the $885 destination charge. It makes the Subaru Impreza the least expensive all-wheel-drive car you can purchase. The premium versions of this model start at $22,500.
